Eric Michael Roberts, Certified Master Piano Technician
Eric has a BA in Music Education and is a Certified Master Piano Technician. Eric has been a full time independent piano technician for over 18 years, tuned tens of thousands of pianos and worked for the world-class artists including Harry Connick Jr., John Legend, Kip Moore, Orville Peck, Idina Menzel (Disney’s Frozen), June Carter Cash, Michael Web (Hank Williams Jr.), James Stafford (Train), Tim Rosenau (Toby Mac), Rob Frazier (Petra), Alex Goot, Mark Lowry, Tony Bennett, Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose, and David Gant (Garth Brooks).
Eric currently works on projects in Nashville for award winning producers including Jay Joyce (Double Grammy Winner and Academy of Country Music Producer of the Year 2023) and Grammy award wining producer, Gena Johnson (also Nominated engineer of the year 2021,2022,2023 by the Academy of Country Music)
Eric is also a fanatical educator, author, and trainer in the piano technology field with one of the most popular YouTube channels for piano technology. The Apex tools and methods are being used by technicians all over the world including Singapore, Japan, Australia, Malaysia, Canada, Poland, Czechia, Switzerland, Norway, Cyprus, Taiwan, Hawaii and many more.
