Meet Your Mentor - Eric Roberts
Eric Roberts is a Certified Master Piano Technician, music educator, and founder of Apex Piano, with more than 18 years of experience as a full-time independent piano technician.
Throughout his career, Eric has tuned tens of thousands of pianos and worked with world-class artists, recording studios, producers, churches, schools, and professional musicians throughout Nashville and beyond. His client list has included artists such as Harry Connick Jr., John Legend, Tony Bennett, Idina Menzel, Billy Ray Cyrus, and many others.
But Apex wasn’t created simply to teach people how to tune pianos. Eric built it to teach the real-world skills and systems he’s learned from nearly two decades in the field—and to give aspiring technicians the guidance he wishes he’d had when he started.
Today, Eric gets to make a living doing something he loves: working around music and musicians, running his own business, and having the flexibility to spend time with his family.
