Effective Date: October 5, 2026
By enrolling in the Apex Piano Tech Mentorship, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Mentorship Program
The Apex Piano Tech Mentorship is a professional piano technician training and business mentorship program offered by Apex Piano Technicians Network.
The program combines online training, technical instruction, mentorship, community access, assessments, and professional development designed to help students develop the skills necessary to work toward Apex certification and professional piano service.
Completion of the program does not guarantee employment, business income, customers, or any specific financial result.
2. Module-by-Module Enrollment
Students choosing the Module-by-Module Payment Plan begin by paying a $497 Module Unlock Fee for Module 1 and enrolling in the Apex Mentorship membership for $150 per month.
The $150 monthly membership automatically renews each month until canceled or until the student completes the program and graduates.
Each subsequent training module requires a separate $497 Module Unlock Fee.
Students must successfully complete the requirements and assessment for their current module before becoming eligible to unlock the next module.
Students may progress through the program at their own pace while maintaining an active Mentorship membership.
3. Monthly Mentorship Membership
The monthly Mentorship membership is month-to-month and may be canceled at any time.
While the membership is active, students receive access to the Mentorship benefits associated with their enrollment, including applicable training, mentorship, community, support, and their current active module.
Canceling the monthly membership stops future monthly membership charges.
Cancellation does not automatically create a refund for previous Module Unlock Fees or monthly membership payments.
4. Lifetime Access to Completed Modules
A module becomes permanently unlocked once the student:
- Completes the required training for that module;
- Completes the applicable assignments or requirements; and
- Successfully passes the required end-of-module assessment.
Once those requirements have been satisfied, the student receives lifetime access to that completed module.
Canceling the monthly Mentorship membership does not remove lifetime access to modules that have already been successfully completed and earned.
5. Canceling Before Completing a Module
If a student cancels the monthly Mentorship membership before completing and passing the assessment for the current module, access to that unfinished module and active Mentorship benefits will be paused.
The student’s progress may be resumed by restarting the monthly Mentorship membership.
Previously completed modules for which lifetime access has already been earned remain available.
6. Membership Paused for More Than 3 Months
A student may pause their progress by canceling the monthly membership.
If the membership remains inactive for more than three (3) months, the student’s active Mentorship account may be deleted from the active student system.
This may include removal of access to unfinished modules, active Mentorship areas, student progress areas, community access, and other active-member resources.
Lifetime access previously earned for successfully completed modules will not be lost.
A returning student whose active account has been deleted may be required to reactivate or recreate their student account before continuing the program.
7. Unlocking Additional Modules
Students on the Module-by-Module Payment Plan progress sequentially through the Apex training program.
After successfully completing and passing the assessment for the current module, the student becomes eligible to unlock the next module for $497.
Payment for one module does not automatically unlock future modules.
There is no requirement to purchase the next module immediately. Students may progress at their own pace, subject to the active-membership provisions described above.
8. Pay-in-Full Enrollment
Students who select the Pay-in-Full option receive immediate access to all three Mentorship modules rather than unlocking them individually.
Pay-in-Full students may progress through the complete training program at their own pace and receive the program benefits described in their enrollment offer.
Pay-in-Full enrollment also includes Lifetime VIP Mentorship access, subject to the program’s community standards and participation policies.
9. Certification
Apex certification is earned through successful completion of the program and is not granted solely because tuition or module fees have been paid.
Students must complete the required training, assignments, assessments, demonstrations, examinations, or other certification requirements established by Apex.
Upon successful completion of all required modules and certification requirements, the student will graduate from the program and receive the applicable Apex piano technician certification.
10. VIP Access After Graduation
Students who successfully graduate from the complete Mentorship program receive VIP access to the Apex Mentorship community.
Graduation does not remove access to training modules that the student has successfully completed and permanently unlocked.
This allows graduates to remain connected to Apex and the technician community after completing their formal training.
11. Tools, Materials & Equipment
Students are responsible for obtaining any tools, instruments, supplies, practice pianos, software, or other equipment required to complete their training unless a particular item is specifically stated as included with their enrollment option.
Any tools or materials included with a specific offer will be identified at the time of enrollment.
12. Payments & Billing Authorization
By enrolling in a recurring Mentorship plan, the student authorizes Apex to charge the payment method provided at enrollment for the applicable $150 monthly membership fee until the membership is canceled or otherwise ends under these terms.
Module Unlock Fees are separate from monthly membership fees.
Students are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method.
13. Refund Policy
Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing, Module Unlock Fees and monthly Mentorship membership payments are non-refundable once charged.
Canceling prevents future monthly membership charges but does not retroactively refund previous payments.
14. Program Updates
Apex may periodically update training materials, course organization, assessments, mentorship formats, technology platforms, community features, or program requirements as the piano technology profession and Apex training system continue to develop.
Such updates do not remove lifetime access that a student has already earned to completed training modules, although the format, hosting platform, or presentation of that content may change.
15. Student Responsibility
Mentorship and instruction provide guidance, but the development of professional competency requires practice and participation by the student.
Students are responsible for completing their training, practicing their skills, following appropriate safety procedures, meeting assessment standards, and conducting themselves professionally within the Apex community.
16. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a Module Unlock, beginning a monthly Mentorship membership, selecting Pay in Full, or otherwise enrolling in the Apex Piano Tech Mentorship, the student acknowledges that they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Suggested Checkout Agreement
For the checkbox at checkout, I would keep it much shorter:
I agree to the Apex Piano Tech Mentorship Terms & Conditions and understand that the Module-by-Module option includes a $497 Module Unlock Fee and a recurring $150/month Mentorship membership until canceled. I understand that lifetime module access is earned after successfully completing the module and its required assessment.
